Brenda Olmos

Brenda holds a degree in International Economics, Management and Finance, specialising in finance, and a Master of Science in Economics and Business Law from Bocconi University. She completed a CAS in Risk Management in Banking and Asset Management at Università della Svizzera italiana and the Centro Studi Villa Negroni, passed CFA Level I and undertook further training in compliance and anti-money laundering.

After working as a Corporate Credit Analyst at Banca PSA Italia, she joined Vector WM in 2019. She progressively expanded her responsibilities in operational organisation, governance and internal controls, becoming Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Executive Management team in January 2023.

She coordinates and oversees the company’s operations, manages organisational processes and supervises the outsourced risk management and compliance functions. She is also the internal anti-money laundering officer and the main point of contact for FINMA, the supervisory organisation and external auditors.

She contributed directly to preparing the application for FINMA authorisation, which was granted in May 2022, helping to define the governance framework, organisational documentation and internal control system. She oversees the ongoing adaptation of the company’s structure and processes to operational needs and regulatory requirements. Outside the office, she pursues her passion for horse riding and enjoys spending her free time with her horse.
