After graduating from Bocconi University, Riccardo began his long career in portfolio management at Indosuez in 1981. A year later, he became one of Italy’s first professional fund managers when he joined the team managing investment funds promoted by the IMI group.
In 1990, he moved to London with INVESCO Asset Management, serving as CIO for several of the company’s entities. From 2004 to 2009, he worked in Kuwait as Head of Global Markets and Investments at Gulf Investment Corporation, the Gulf Cooperation Council’s investment fund.
On returning to Italy, he held Investment Director roles at Banca Leonardo and Banca Akros. From 2018, he continued as an investment adviser to various Italian and international institutions. Since 2023, he has been responsible for investments at Agenda Invest AG, which has since become part of Vector WM.
